Mille Cochin Info

Hey chicken girl

The easiest way is to buy some already made But if you want to take the long hard road then you need the wild type color to start with Wheaton, partridge,or the duckwing Then you need a black mottled and a columbian or a buff columbian to get there one step ahead of the game It will take several generations to do and a lot of paperwork..record keeping The millie Fleur D'Uccle is not part of the millie cochin Your best bet..buy some pre made Good luck

I finally get to join you guys! I bought some eggs from Mike (bantyman) and he was wonderful to work with. He sent me a total of 22 eggs but the PO handled them very roughly - a bunch had detached air cells. I ended up with 8 hatching. I'm going to take some progression pics once I get some type of leg bands for them so I can keep them straight. They're in with some lavender chicks. I can't believe how many different colors there are! Can't wait to see how they feather out.

I don't check in for a few weeks and now...sheesh!
I'll have to stop myself from hyperventilating about everyone's spring blossoms! Very nice, Horsefeathers!
