Beautiful! I seen your auction and have a rooster without any nice hens. My first thought was I need these hens, my second thought was I need to change things around and get rid of some and I'd never get it done in time. Then I seen the auction has 6 days! It is possible this auction can get out of my price range. I'm going to be so nice to my husband all next week he's going to wonder whats up. I have a feeling you will be smiling all the way to the bank!

Anyhow this is my rooster that would be in heaven if he had these girls.

Where was my mind? I have about 75 extra roos!

Still, I'm not going to complain about 10 to 12 extras.

Jen, I would really appreciate more pics of that roo .. wow

Bantyman, stunning. I know what you're saying about the under patterned mottling and wonder if it really could keep the birds from becoming too white so early... good thinking. and keep us posted.

I really like this guy. Here's some more pics of him.

Here he is as a youngster.

A close up.

He has a wayward tail feather, it'something about him that bothers me. He is a good daddy, and takes care of chicks. He's in a pen with a mottle hen that has brassy hackles, and the part of a hen you see pictured.

My 1st roo had that feather and it came out in his first molt. So far only 1 of his sons had it and it already settled down.
