Mille Cochin Info

They look to be a cross between the black mottleds and a millie They might even be an F2 Your best bet would be to cross them back with a millie and the color will become more defined The more you breed the millie in the more millie they will become Just be sure to breed in the best on every breeding Remember that type comes first and the color will follow Good luck with your project

are these Millie colored? or going to be? i think they have to much black. they are about a month old

They really do not look like my MF/Mottled crosses. I suppose they could be but they looked mixed with something else. The little one on the left does not have a Cochin rump or tail so I would suspect something else mixed in.

Gosh, I hate to hear that you are getting out of them for a while. What a shame. You sure produced some nice ones and you live close enough that I could have come for some if I needed them. If I had the room, time, money etc I would be interested in what you have left for sale but with around 100 new ones growing up, eggs still in the bator and having just moved around roosters and hens for new crosses, I am maxed out.

You should post what you have left for sale on here, though. I bet they are some beauties!

I love roo #1 and roo #2. Not enough white tipping on your roo #3 but that may well change. Love that little calico boy behind the black boy! LOL
I agree with Nancy! You have some gorgeous birds!
