Millie’s Crop

Have you ever treated your adults with Corid?
Crop problems can be a sign of coccidiosis and or worms.
Thanks. I did not know that. The entire flock is being treated right now since there are integrated three-week-old chicks and we lost one on Sunday. They had never been treated before.

Oh great...I'm glad to hear everyone is getting the Corid.

Coccidia breed perfectly in warm wet areas and I think I remember you using a mister last year.
Even if your adults don't have coccidiosis the Corid won't hurt them but if they do have an overload clearing it up could help with your crop issues.

Actually, I knew it could be a sign of worms, but not of coccidiosis. We have TONS of wild birds, so I think it’s a possibility. There have been some messy bums.

You are right; I use a mister in hot weather. We had the wettest May on record followed by a heat wave at the start of June. Could be lots of nasties growing in the litter and soil.
