I wonder if goose math is just as bad as chicken math.

I don't think you'll be able to get all
White. They used the Oregon minis to get the sebs small so if I remember correctly, they only come in the colors.
And they don't yet have the breeding down so they are as curly as standard sebs so don't expect super curly ones

no white puffy curly ones? I was afraid of that. They are so busy now, I did not ask too many questions.
Sigh
I just ordered their goose book. Maybe I shall keep reading for now. The bob cat just took a pretty trout runner duck Sunday and a cottontail bunny yesterday.
All ducks are in lockdown. I am not sure I should have geese that needs to free range in my back yard now.

It can become an expensive dinner for my backyard preditors. How do you keep your birds safe?

Yes, very expensive!
Right now I have a coop and pen that houses my ancona ducks and my sebastopol geese. These guys are allowed to free range as they are the largest overall flock.
I have a coop and pen with my american buff geese and my muscovy geese. These are penned just until breeding season for the geese is over then the geese will be allowed to free range with the others.
And I have a coop and pen with my mini geese and my call ducks. These usually free range (separate part of my property so they usually don't comingle) but I am hesitant on letting the mini geese free range. Some of my full sized ganders can be rough and I would HATE to lose one over a fight that could've been prevented. So I may do a rotation by breed/pen this summer that way they aren't all out at once.

As far as predators go, I have had foxes but the've only taken ducks and chickens.
I also have had hawk issues but they take the slow fat ducks. I've yet to have something bother my geese. But I know that some people, depending on location, can have a bigger predator problem.

And nope, no fluffy curly white minis. Not yet anyways ;)
