We just got a 3-week old mini pig whom the lady said was eating pellets but I'm assuming not fully weaned. She has screamed all day long, she ate some pellets and raisins from our hands and has drank some water. I have not seen her urinate or defecate. She is okay when laying with me but only for a half hour or so then she starts screaming again. I don't know if it's separation anxiety or what. I have her in her carrier with blankets to root in but I can here her trying to break out and squealing. Should I leave her be? Try to comfort her? Any help is welcome!!!!

I don't know a lot about pigs but when I see them advertised they always 8+ weeks old. I would say she is way too young to be away from her mother. Sounds like she came from a backyard breeder who doesn't care about his/her animals in the slightest. I wish there was someone to report them to. I wish I had advice but have never bottle raised a pig.....
