Ya gotta get a pig harness.. they can slip out of the dog harnesses..

very cute! He looks simliar to my 4YO DS potbelly. ours is named duckie--guess that's what you get when you let a 4 YO name the pig! ROFL!

Oh and let me say that you WILL need to get him neutered (which we found to be QUITE pricey) as he will be very stinky and will hump EVERYTHING...and I mean everything!

OH and yes, he can be trained like a dog, duckie is housebroken and comes when he is called. heck, he listens better than the dogs! we found an xtra large harness at petco that we use when he needs to be walked or go to the vet. he hasn't gotten out of it but it's quite a challenge to put it on him!
few pics

these are from when he was a piglet with his owner, Jackson:

and now, in his new 'habitat' as the kids call it....this first pic cracks me up and was not setup in any way--that's just duckie!

Yes he can be potty trained like a dog. If you have a doggie dog, they can be trained to use that. So far I've just been amazed.

Duckie is adorable! Thanks for sharing his pics. He does look abit like our boy and I love that pic of him in his new habitat.

We are looking into having him neutered shortly. Just got to find the right place to have it done.

We are also going to be ordering him the right harness so we don't have the problem of him getting out of it.

Thanks everyone for your advice. We are listening to all of it.

we called about 6 different vet's before we found that would neuter him. We ended up going with the vet services at Petco. good luck finding one! Apparently they are considered an exotic pet around here so most vet's will not even see them. Also, the neutering is different than a standard pig, something about hernia's and internal bleeding if not done properly. oh and not to scare you but it was pretty pricey. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions. I knew nothing of them before the DS begged for this one--on his birthday no less...how could i say no?!

Who would want a PIG for a pet? ME THATS WHO lol

This is Lilly. She was born Memorial Day. She luvs to have her belly scratched LOL

I actually prefer pigs over dogs. Smarter and less picky at the dinner bowl

Ha, DS begged me and since his birthday is this Sunday I figured this could be his present. Didn't really have time to think about it though. I have to do more research on where to get him neutered, but I will PM you if I have questions, thanks.
