I too went with meyer who has a minimum of 3 chicks. They arrived very quickly and very healthy! Not to mention their friendly staff!

My pet chicken ROCKS! Second order from them. I live in boonietown and they shipped me 6 chicks on one shipment and 8 on my first order. Don't think I can order three here, but I think I can order 5 or more. They show up the day after hatch. Shipping is pricey for < 25 chicks tho, but no packing peanuts and they get here quickly.

Shipping is pricey, I agree. BUT great customer service AND the chicks are in great shape! My chicks should be getting here around the 20th. They ship the 19th..

I contacted Ideal, and Ross told me that the $25 minimum was for live poultry only. I went with Meyer for that reason. I live in a rural area, and ordered 6. Shipping was about $31, but it was worth it to not have to order so many!

I just recieved 6 chicks fom Meyers. I can't say enough good things about them. They spent sooo much time with me, picking breeds and discussing vacinations. They were wonderfu!!! The chicks were shipped Monday and arrived Tuesday. All look healthy and happy! 3 chick min. I think I was impressed because they spent so much time with me and I had such a small order, very little profit involved I'm sure.
