minimum order trouble

i want tobuy some bantam blue cochins from Ideal Hatchury and teh minimum order is 25 can i just order 15 and will they supply packing peanuts

You can post in the chicks and chickens BST forum and see if anyone in your area wants to go in on an order with you. mypetchicken is expensive from what I've heard.

I have an order of silkies being shipped out on sept 2nd from Ideal. And I only ordered 5. They did say they would be packing peanuts included.

According to thier site, you only need to meet $25 worth of chickens, BUT they will add male chicks for comfort.

I just placed an order for Sept 2. I am only getting 12 chicks but I met the 25.00 min order. The total for shipping and all my chicks was around 40.00.

No you don't have to pay for the peanuts, I ordered 18 chicks and they sent me 13 peanuts, Barred Rocks.

Most of the time packing peanuts are roo's so be careful~ Sorry didn't realize it was Ideal...LOL
