Minnesota!

Hope its OK,,,it seems like my girls have doubled in size since Ive got them so i thought they were eating good, Well this morning i made them white rice (cooked) with milk and raisins and my daughter in law is a huge health food freak so she left a bag of organic Flax seeds and Chia seeds here,,,so i tossed some of those in rice also.. i dumped it in the run and the girls all jumped on it like the were starving... never seen them eat that ferociously before... hope their belly's don't explode...and hope I'm feeding them good on a normal basis..
Talk about spoiling them!! And I thought I was going overboard with all the rasins.

I think I need to worm my birds, My Fi has a pale comb, has been off her eating slightly, runny poo, and hasn't laid an egg in three days, this is odd as she usually lays 6 out of 7 days. I have not seen any worms, but they say you don't always see them. I was thinking of using valbazen (I used safeguard in the spring), Is it available here in MN? Tractor supply or fleet farm or something?

Just make sure they never run out of there crumbles or pellets, or if you do organic cracked grains, as long as you don't run out, you are fine.

One f the benefits of camping road trips is the abilities to make tacos for lunch wherever the scenery is best...

How old are your birds cluckies? If they are 18 months then hold off as they may begin their molt. And you don't want funky feathers growing in. Molting makes them feel horrible. It saps their energy, brings their immune system down, gives them the runs, makes them irritable and worst of all they don't lay eggs. If they are less than a year old then try the wormer. If they are in their second year throw a can of tuna fish or high protein foods to help them speed through their molt. Lower their scratch, fruit, low protein treat intake.
