Minnesota!

I know where I went with that...straight to the "unsubscribe" button. Life is too short to try to have a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.

Thanks for the welcome! I spent the early part of my life around the Kanaranzi, Beaver Creek, Luverne area before we hotfooted it to the warmer climes of Sioux Falls! I may poke around and stop in now and then, and thank ye kindly.

Bog, just for you, my friend:

Just tell me one thing...why in the heck would anyone bother with ketchup? Chislic is far better eaten glistening white with coarse salt and if the fries are greasy enough they shouldn't need it either! The beer? The beer I get!

Ah, Ralphie - guess I'm busted. Tee hee. I just wanted to see if things had changed since I lived in Minnesota. I loved the part my extended family lived in but I never did learn how to spell "lutefisk". Hey, I did it! My spell checker dude needs CPR, but I did it! I now leave you to your thread. I do apologize for the disruption and thank you all for your patience.
@Blooie , you've wandered a ways from the MHP thread! Better get back under there and warm up!

Tonight was my father's 70th dinner party. Made him steak on the grill and taters from the garden. Home made popovers. It was a good night. Mom had an assortment of other goodies from the garden: beets, green beans, creamed cucs. I'm full!
But the highlight for me was watching Dad in his glory and sharing some log splitting with his grandson. I like seeing a 70 year old still at it with the wood piles. I told him as much and he admitted he loved doing it.

Yeah creamed cucumbers is a new one for me but that doesn't take much either. Oh and I guess I don't know chislic either.

Coffee that thread has to be a joke or a very young person with lots to learn.
