OK Ralphie I am ready to hear your I told you so.  Game warden here today says I have fox and bobcat no wolf.  BUT if it comes again and I get a picture on my game cam or more tracks to call them so they can see the evidence first hand.  What a joke!  I could cry right now.  So frustrating!

That is a huge fox and/or a bobcat that has its claws stuck out. Sorry to hear they are still giving the run around. Your best bet is to get as many game cams out as you can then apply the 3 Ss if you must!

I am so sorry. That has got to be the largest fox in the state to have 4 12 inch paws! BTW A bobcat does not extend its claws when it walks.

Those tracks are definitely not Bobcat, and the likelihood that they are fox is about 1 in 5,000,000. It is another case of wolf predation denial by the authorities.
I do not advocate for the 3 s's as relates to the Game Warden unless you possess a Bobcat (the machine) or Excavator!

I am going to edit my post, and give the guy the benefit of some doubt. It is possible that because of elapsed time and likely deterioration of quality of tracks there would be difficulty in positive identification by the expert? An accomplished and experienced trapper would be a better source for identification.

You guys need good, gentle, obedient wolves like the ones the "experts" released into Yellowstone years ago. Ours are cute and cuddly and photogenic. AND, as an added bonus, they can read! Yep, they get to the park boundary gates, read the sign that says "Leaving Yellowstone Park" and immediately turn around and go back the way they came! Of course, the species they "reintroduced" to the Park weren't the species that lived there originally, but hey - us dumb Wyoming hicks don't know the difference anyway. You know, once upon a time wolves roamed all over what is now Central Park and up and down the Potomac River Valley. Wonder how the city slickers who thought this was a good idea would feel about wolves being reintroduced there.... I think you must have gotten one of our Yellowstone wolves by mistake. Ours are smart - they wear shoes to fool DNR dudes into thinking they are some other critters. You should see how funny those wolves look wearing deer hooves! Okay, I know, I know. Get back in the corner Blooie.

I am living the edge today!

The turkey hen is in the oven. I cleaned her again.


Injected her with a Cajun flavored butter mixture, ...then here is the dangerous part.

I made a stuffing out of bread crumbs, raisins and the giblets I found Hidden in the freezer! My DW does not like giblets in dressing so she hid them. Not well enough!!!

I added a little of the left over butter with cajub spices to the bread crumbs, Along with the giblets, which I fried up in light seasoning, just salt. pepper and one little jalapeno;

Then I stuffed all the stuffing into the cavity of the hen! I know the dangers, but I LIKE stuffed turkey! Sweet potatoes, baked potatoes and Peas should round out the meal. With left overs for a week, wish I knew someone to invite over to eat with us.


Anyways. it is already smelling good
