Minnesota!

I like your trailer coop. I almost bought the back of a box truck to do that but decided to use my corn crib instead since it didn't cost anything

thanks! I bought it at a church auction to use to store my household stuff while I lived in a tent while the house was being built. Afterwards it made a good chicken coop but it has a few leaks. keeping the roof tarred every year is a chore, I would love to build a tin roof on top of it so I could be done with that nonsense.

love your goldie/white ee.

minniechickmama, thanks for the advice on the roo. That makes sense that he is still pretty young. so pretty! still unnamed...

Minnie, I believe that you have identified a "redneck" transgression. It may not be of expulsion quality, but would definitely result in probation. A true redneck would not wish to be caught dead or any other way in CLOGS. That is a cardinal sin!

The weather is very Chitty Here.

Snow mixed with rain and it is all Holm's fault! Had he not said anything it would have been bluebird weather here.

Now I have to explain the Clogs before I get de-rednecked. I use the clogs to go outside when I just want to be out for a few minutes, mostly. My Clogs are Camo colored! I wear them with my Bib overalls if I want to dress up for a trip to Menards or Runnings. However, they are not fit for Sunday go to meeting, as they are covered in Chicken Poop.

I think they are definitely redneck!

I quit for the day. It has turned absolutely yucky out there.

I have decided my plan for the rest of the day, I can not reveal the exact details, as they are top secret, but they include:

Cinnamon Liqueur
Peppermint schnapps
hot cocoa
BYC
my bed

Finally started seeing the flakes here in Ham Lake. I planned on going home and gutting out the coop to get some new bedding down for the impending snowfall. I may have to brave the weather and git 'r' done.

Bag balm is on order. A few of my girls have large combs, so hopefully this will keep them out of the frostbite zone. I wash my hands a million times at work per day and use Utter Cream to keep them moisturized. I get some odd looks, but it works great and keeps my hands from chapping.
