Hey all! i ended up taking a half day from work and spending most of the day outside and in my woodshop. got so much done!

i have started leaving my phone inside when i go to the shop so it doesnt get so dirty (just got a new one) so i havent been online.

I bathed our hen tonight to get all to poo off her tummy. hope that will help me determine if the funk is poop or infection/disease. it was a good opporunity to feel her all over and she felt ok, nothing felt out of place. I used a blowdryer on her to get her mostly dry before bringing her back to her pen. she is walking a little better but still very wobbly. She keeps stepping on her own toes! i think tomorow she will spend the day in the coop with her flock and hopefully she does well. She is still eating pretty well. even ate some chicken crumbles tonight.

Yep you were right the Pics helped Thank You...Those kittens are getting big...and cute .. glad they are getting along with the chick... are they ever going out or they staying in the house??? Lol

They are getting their vaccinations this weekend, then they will be moving out to my insulated shop.

Part of me is considering building a ramp and kitten door into one of my casement windows in the basement so they can come and go from the basement.... they are ground level so why not!

I really like everyone on both threads. I don't understand this whole thing. We all love chickens. The rest is just a bunch of opinions.
