I was actually outside barefoot today standing on the cement steps watching the chickens. Felt good on the tired feet.. The girls are dust bathing in a dirt area they found and then drinking fresh melted snow that formed a puddle.. Love days like today.. Life is good..
My flock is currently enamored with a few patches of grass I exposed yesterday when I was scraping up the softened snow around the driveway. oh oh scandia, we might have to do a chicken intervention. loving the icicles the warm weather has been bringing:Nice pics.. And the bunny is cute.. and the rabbit that is loving the water and feed in the run, not to mention the hay:
not that I want that rabbit around. not good for the garden, and probably brings mites etc into the run when it is messing around in the hay under the coop.
