I'm trying to figure out a combo coop - part of it using the warehouse caging from blanch and part hog panel hoop. And haven't figured out the brooder inside the new to be built coop.

A straight hoop coop would be easier for me to figure out as I am definitely spatially challenged. But the warehouse caging is so secure and there wouldn't be any need to reinforce it with hardware cloth.

any why don't critters climp the hoop coops and come in thru the tops?

I agree with you about the hog panel hoops. you would end up needing to cover the whole thing with hardware cloth anyways, right? or at least 2x4 wire at the top. at that rate, the value of using the hog panels decreases. but i suppose it works if you want a more simple structure.

Does anyone know good treatments for prolapse? My oegb hen has it. She stopped laying, and she is now separated from the other hen, but it hasn't really improved.

Annadale is the only cow I got pics of yesterday. I really want more Tarentaise just like her. But I want them to be tame enough for a milk cow.

WHen that happened to my BA i just kept it clean, which required daily soakings. then when the swelling went down I was able to press it back in. i kept her in solitary the whole time so the other hens wouldnt peck at it. she is happy and healthy again.

What did you soak her in? Plain warm water?
