Minnesota!

I was in Rochester Friday and my sister's friend made a call to have a wild Roo picked up! Can't say I know how to calm him down, but I love this little commentary on how to avoid becoming your roosters adversary!

My new mantra:
I am not a chicken. Rooster rules do not apply to me. If we fight, I may win, but there is no glory in defeating an 8-pound bird.

Ha ha, I used to work in Maplewood- at Minnesota Gastroenterology. I didn't know anyone kept chickens there! I am now waaaay up in Braham, MN, and may very soon be moving to Maine for work. If so, I will be looking to place some of my chickens. A lot of extra roos. I have about 5 or 6 Showgirl roos I don't want for my breeding program. I was just going to cull them, but I might put them up on here and see if anyone wants them. I will have to get pics this week-end and post them. They are pretty colors, mostly lavs, but skin color is not right.

BTW,

I already posted this in the Chickenstocks, Shows, Meet-Ups section but thought I'd also post here. Any help is appreciated.

Does anyone know if the Fergus Falls, MN exotic auction is this Saturday? I heard through the grapevine that it was but have not been able to confirm. If so, do you know what time it starts and what the cost of admission is? Also what the schedule will be, birds first or hoofed stock?
