okay, hiya everybody. i am just joining in on this thread. i am in mpls, born and bred in this briar patch. we are working on getting a coop built this week, perhaps for the first time ever i am putting the donkey before the cart and building the coop first...

Hi Maya! I'm in Mpls too, and waiting for my permit papers. No coop or chicks for me yet.

I was coming home from work at about 2 am this morning and swore I saw snowflakes too. Thermometer in my truck still said 39 degrees though. I bet it dropped even more before daybreak.
 
Agreeded The Weather Is Not Spring Like, But We Did Not Blow Away.
There Is Another Sale, Swap At New Ulm Saterday May 7, 2011. At The Fair Grounds. Starts At 7:00 Am. They Charge 2 Or 3 Bucks To Get In. Not Hard To Find In Town. It Is Inside, Lunch, Restrooms
I Got 2 Pair Of White Pigeons A Few Weeks Ago And They Have Started Nesting. I Have Never Sold There But The Times I Bought I Was Happy With The Birds. The People Are Helpful With Questions.
 
So cute! I got ducks last week, so exciting! But the crazy wind blew the roof the off the coop and they were gone, our neighbor called and told us there were some black ducks under their truck. Now we only have 2. I'm so tired of this weather. Cold crazy wind, freezing on May 1! I wish we could relocate!
