Thank you for the reply, I'm excited for the chicks!!!!!!
I did a stupid thing though. I didn't know I shouldn't put eggs under her after the first day, I gave her 3 Saturday 2 more Sunday and then 9 on Tuesday! So now it's wait and see if she leaves the last eggs I'll take them in and put them on a heating pad I guess..

You can come up here and look at chickens, turkeys and guineas, I will sell you a wiener on a stick soaked in cooking oil with a little corn meal on it for 10 bucks. Charge you 8 dollars to park and an admission fee of $29, so you get the full state fair experience. If you want the shoulder to shoulder crowd it will cost a tad more.

lord Ralphie, you always make me laugh!

the little legbar is holding her own, but I'm not sure how. She has a semi full crop....tomorrow I will be here in daylight and can check to see if it went down overnight.
And with all these broodies, egg production is way way down. Would love a game cam to see how they are defending the nests but still getting eggs from the others! They have created their own nests, some of them just have one egg, some a handful. Silly girls!

Any tips on how to get chickens to not sleep in Roll Away Nest Boxes, my roos and chickens seem to enjoy too, even thought they have a lot of roost space.
