Minnesota!

It's Winter and we're all from MN, so we've been hibernating. It's been a mild year though. I hope we don't get snow until mid April like last year.

I do know about the Hutch swap and plan on attending.

I know CPR, but you're on your own getting revived! Is anyone else getting cabin fever and itching to start a garden and get more chicks? I'm on the hunt for EE chicks, salmon faverolles, and perhaps d'uccles. I can't wait to plant the garden!

Yes, I've definitely got spring fever. I've started really digging thru my garden catalogs and just put in my order for chicks at the hatchery. Though I asked for my shipping date to be April :D

I'm also starting cuttings in the windows and have planted my first batch of broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage and other seeds in a tray inside by the window. Most think I'm nuts for starting it so soon, but I made some cold frames last summer so that I could place them out sooner this coming spring. I'm hoping to get three crops out of the stair-stepped process.

I ordered 2 Cream Light Brown Dutch Bantams, 2 Black Breasted Red Old English Bantams, 3 Chukar Patridge, 3 Spangled Cornish Bantams, 3 Buff Columbian Wyandotte Bantams, 2 White Crested Black Polish, 1 Silver Spangle Hamburg, as well as some Swedish ducks, a Mallard and a couple other ducks and a couple of pheasants.

So I think I'm officially listed as in full blown SPRING fever
