It's awful! We have freezing rain here today and its super windy! My perennials were just starting to come up before this batch of weather so hopefully they'll make it through!

Yeah, I take that back. I just walked outside and the flurries are gone. Now we have freezing rain and wind.

So, who else is sick of this weather? We received 6 inches of very thick snow and then we have had non-stop flurries for the past 2 days. This should not be happening in April.

Me! Me! Very tired of it! We got 14" of the heavy white stuff and it is snowing again. Forecast is showing another 5-8" with this storm. We made it to 37* this morning because of the sun being around. Perennials? Wow - I was just getting to see patches of brown grass here and there. Guess we are skipping Spring this year. Hoping that doesn't mean that we will have no summer.

Yep perennials! Had a nice week in the 50's and started seeing tulips coming up and some green leaves on the base of some perennials. Now they're covered in ice. I'm really hoping we have some kind of spring!

We could get up to 11 inches here. The wind has let up. The way its looking we will be using the ice shanty instead of a boat for fishing opener.

It will be interesting for fishing opener, that is for sure! I feel like I should have Christmas music on when I look out the window at the snow blowing around.
