Minnesota!

Agree on the teflon tape, works great for stopping the leaks. As for the bit size I'd recommend a 'step bit' to open the hole up slightly more. The step bit will also leave a cleaner edge on the pvc which should further prevent leaks.

I ordered 10 of the nipples for 10$ including shipping from ebay, took less than a week to arrive.

I was able to get 10 nipples on ebay for $7.80 and free shipping. Just had to look a little into it to make sure they are not shipped from China. It would be nice if I could buy them singly from a store, but , oh well

I ordered some of the push in type nipple waterers from some place I found on Amazon. The price was great, I'll have to check to see which store it was. I really like them and haven't had any leaks. I've read that the screw in types are more likely to have leaking problems so that's why I got the other ones.

As for roosters, that Hamburg is gorgeous! Wow! To bad you couldn't keep him.

If anyone is looking for any Welsummer or French Black Copper Marans roosters I have some for sale! I'll have to check my calendar but they are approximately 4 weeks old, I think. Maybe 5 or 6, actually. If there's any interest I can look it up. Lol

I also have some mixed mutt type roosters that are destined for freezer camp soon but if anyone wants to buy one fairly cheap just let me know. These are older, maybe 8 to 12 weeks? Again, I can look it up if needed.

I'm located near Buffalo and Montrose but would be willing to deliver 15-20 miles.

I ordered chicken water nipples from an on line store cheap..."Coops'n More" I think it was called. They're out of Princeton actually. I live in northern mn and was super "happy" that package went to des moines to be sorted by the us postal service before it went north again! and they wonder why they're going broke. Anyways I like coops 'n more.
