Minnesota!

Looking for laying hens in the southwest Minnesota area. I have way too many roosters! Would be willing to sell some roosters as well or we could trade! Out of all my chickens I only have about 6 hens. And I have 13 chickens total! Thanks!

All the birds are doing great. Spoiled rotten and loving it. Hoping for our first egg soon.
I have been seeing some pullet eggs for about 3-weeks or so, so I am sure yours aren't far behind

Thanks, but I'm looking for either white, black, or blue runner ducks.

Hello I have a white female runner for sale. She is around 4 to 5 months old. Also have 1 fawn and white drake plus 2 gray drakes for sale. I was whipped out from a darn skunk in June. this is all I have left. I am in Brainerd and willing to meet in St. Cloud.

Something stole 15 of my 23 chickens during the middle of the day today while I was at work, the fishy part is that there are NO feathers scattered anywhere! I have had a fox hanging around my place but I can't imagine a fox would take 15 birds in one shot and leave no feathers scattered around. Has anyone had a raid like this before or have suggestions to what might have happened? I have a rifle, shotgun, and my electric predator call ready to go by my back door tonight. Somethings gonna get it!

I lost 18 birds (ducks and chickens) to coyotes once. It was late winter so we were able to find tracks and follow them to the birds they had stashed around the woods for later. BUT there were some feathers left behind.

Cyrus, was there signs of struggle? Holes in the fence? Were they free ranging? I could see an eagle or something carry a few away, one at a time. But not 15.

I scowered every inch of my 40 acres for feathers and found nothing! And it would have all had to happen between 1:30 to 5. Because that's when my roommate left and got back. 4 bsl, 2 bo, 3 buckeyes, 3 phoenix and 3 cochins! All about to start laying and all gone! Does homeowners insurance cover chickens?
