Minnesota!

I think your Mother is being totally unreasonable!:lau

If we had birds in the house, and we must not because my DW says they do not belong in the house, we would use a cut off cardboard barrel with an oven grate over it, that looks a lot like the barrel and grate in the living room. But of course we would never use it for birds  cause my wife said they don't belong in the house. I keep fuzzy cute little goldfish in it now,

There are reported sightings of my mother holding and feeding the chicks so I don't think she's too upset about the matter.

Except when the kids jump on the edge of the brooder and hang their little butts over the edge....

Ahh that is a lot like my wife and the hard and fast no birds in the house rule, I have seen her talking to them feeding them and holding them.

Thanks for the mom story Ralph!! I love them.

I'm on my way home from Brainerd!! Spent the week with my aunt, uncle and cousins. I now have eggs that should start hatching the 4th. I totally forgot about there being a holiday on the 4th but I will never forget the babies birthday!

I will be bailing this into large squares mainly for the reason that I usually end up trucking a lot of it down south and to the east(WI). However I do aswell have a hard time finding anyone doing small squares anymore.

Really?

I thought the hue on the color was way too green to have a true tractor color,,, real tractors are red. But then some lawn tractors are greenish, from what i am told

I love John Deere!! Its the best of the best!! We drive a Mahindra but its my grandpas. My other grandpa drives John Deere and a beautiful old David Brown. Now I need to get pics for on here to show off that beautiful machine.

That's a good old John Deere! LOL. They never depreciate (much) and you can count on them for years. Mowers--> the decks float and create lawn heaven...no scuffed marks. I married into an Allis family myself. But my husband got himself out of lawnmowing when I told him if he bought a John Deere rider he wouldn't have to mow the yard any more. I do believe that was the fastest purchase I ever seen him make for me.

He whisked me over to Jim Hennen at the dealership in st. cloud and I was riding green. Still have it 17 years later.

Atta Boy Holm! Can't wait to see your awesome tractor pictures. Now I guess I should dig up some old farm photos too from back in the day.
