Minnesota!

Ralphie, I am with you on the pizza. Was just to Sammy's in West Duluth and to my way of thinking there is no better.
All of this prose re alcohol consumption has me thinking I am in Superior,Wi or on Duh Range.
I am not a complete abstainer but consume very little of it. Too much alcohol leads to bad and potentially life changing or ending situations. I am not lecturing. Just saying for some it is filled with bad memories.
My son chased a coyote out of the yard the other evening while still broad daylight. Too bad he came around the corner of the garage without being armed. The son that is not the coyote.
It is a bad time of year regarding varmints. They know winter is on the way, and they want to fatten up before it gets harder to find food.
Unless a person has unfilled coop space it is a bad time of year to be adding birds, unless Ralphie has some for sale.
Ralphie, if you want to hatch more next year I know where you can get an old GQF incubator without releasing any cash.
Judy might allow that type of additional incubator?

I will be hatching more next year, but really have not thought much about it. I enjoy the hatching. I will not be hatching many barnyard mixes though, just for my own egg production.

I will most likely hatch turkeys again, unless I still have 50 come spring. I want to whittle down my over winter crew to 3-4 toms and 6-8 hens. Come spring the extra toms will be going to visit the nice Asian lady with the plastic lined trunk.

I will hatch Creamettes, BA's, and if I could find a couple partridge chanticlers hens some of them. I have really taken a liking to ED. I will hatch a few EE, just because so many people like to raise them and they sold easily this spring. I hope to hatch frogs ( CX over CX) and toads (CX over Rainbows) for meat.

Yep. as I look at this I need to find me a GQF, so I am interested.. Thanks

What a nice day out. We harvested tomatoes and potatoes today. After I tilled up the potato patch, I turned the chickens on it and they went to town on the abundance of ants and weed seeds i turned up. Even Betty White is getting brave an adventuring out.

Conrad and crew got yard time today, too. I am quite excited to announce he has begun to crow! its quite funny, but he is getting there. I dont have any fancy camera with zoom besides my iphone, so I am struggling to get good close up shots. I would love to show you guys some nice shots of Conrad. He is getting so handsome but wont let me get close..
