My poor meatballs are not fairing well in this heat.

They did not even want to go into the brooder/tractor for feed. There are so many bugs in the grass today, their little crops are full of seeds and bugs. When I tried to walk them slowly to the tractor, they would act like they were over heated, then see a cabbage moth and take after it. I had to pick up about a dozen and put them to bed.

I thought I was over the heat of summer when I started putting the weight on them. I have my fingers crossed none will die. Next year I will try April first chubbies.
