Minnie here are all 3 chickens from you hanging out together this morning. First ones off the roost gets the bugs that are coming down with the leaves. Those leaves are from a crappy ash tree. All others are green and still accounted for.

That sour cream recipe for cucs would be closest to mine as that's what I'm making with the whipping cream when I add the vinegar--soured cream. But I like it a bit on the runnier side. And will not sour 1/2 of the cream and wait to add it after I've added the soured stuff. Mmmm it's so good and savory.

My German mother used sour cream or plain yoghurt. We use that recipe for cukes as well.

My Grandma. Pureblooded German, used cream or sour cream. I even bought some sour cream last week just to make these before my Cukes were gone. I being retired and DW being gainfully employed, have been assign cooking detail by the Household supervisor. Today the Blue hen goes into the oven, It is turkey night here. Poor Blue hen, she was a good one.

Blooie They are understating the damage pea soup cause on a keyboard. Pea soup sits and reacts with the keys and electronics. First you lose the L's then other stuff happens. Now my keyboard is useless, If I type an R I get a FR. if I type a O I get a u. I am now typing on a Bluetooth keyboard barely larger than a cell phone. It is too small for my hand and clumsy. However, I am forced to use it or admit to my DW she was right when I went to buy it and it was too small. I will use this as long as possible, or until I can sneak a new keyboard into the house.

Lala THat makes sense about the snow and bob Whites. Just looking at Pheasants and how they fair in snow, both liking similar habitat. Unlike our ruffed grouse that does well in snow by plunging into it for warmth and cover.

KlopKlop, I do not think that is just any old redneck, I think you have had an Officer from the executive board in your sights!
