Minnesota!

Apple-plum Jelly? Apple pie? Apple butter? Yes! Apple ale is all the rage right now - I'd be willing to test that for you if you whip up a batch or three :)

DH grows hops too! Of course, it would be nice if we could get the harvested for use before they turn brown next time. Another item on the list of too many things we want to try before we die, making beer.

Hi All! I'm back from a week of the crazies. The DS is married, the relatives have left, & the GS is now home, such a cute little bug.
My sister came up from FL with winter type clothing. Even my dad who is from GA brought an Alpaca jacket, but he is heading further north to Newfoundland. I had to laugh because my sister was taking all sorts of pictures of the chickens & 'pacas to show her friends down south. She wanted a vid of the boys running so I put her on the top of the hay bales, put out some chow & called the boys, Instant Alpaca stampede.

DH bought another barn style shed for the new coop. It's from the same guy that built the one we already have & we've had it about 10-12 yrs. He wanted to deliver it today. There was no way I could clear the place for it so Sat. is now delivery day. I'm putting it on the other side of the driveway which will be mildly inconvenient but I need to get a bit of space between the 2 groups. I'm looking forward to getting it pained & ready for its new occupants.

I was trying to catch on all the new fit to be posted. Ah, that's not going to happen. I did notice some nice run Picts & some growing chicken Picts, I'm not sure whose they are as I've been reading in my iPad so I have a choice to see the whole post or who posted, not both without going side to side. I haven't been able to adjust the screen size. Which means I really can't see what I'm typing right now either. I'm just going to hope that autocorrect doesn't do something, shall we say, interesting.

Helll everyone!! Well I happen to happen to have Muscovy ducklins for sale and young stock too. I have some chocolates and Blue's. They are out of my Chocolate drake and Blue hens, some of them may turn to white heads too.
PM me for more info. I hope everyone is doing good.
I had a lot of Applesauce left over from last year so i made apple butter in a crock pot. Worked like a charm and was extremly easy.
