Minnesota!

Swing in on your way up. I will give you plenty to tide you through your mini vacation. Eggs that is. I don't have the bacon yet.

If it wasn't so far out of the way I would. I go up Highway 65 all the way to Togo.

Unless I am feeling adventuresome, then I go 169 to Grand Rapids and north on 38 to Effie then 1 to Togo. There is no direct, short or fast route. But your way too far east. but thanks for the offer,

we can invoke some kind of squatters rights and take it by force if we have to. based on the story you told that is what they did to your family, right?

From my point of view the Federal Government is squatting on it right now. From there point of view they think it is theirs. They have bigger guns than I do, and I subscribe to the theory of whoever has the biggest gun wins.

you meet Bella today she does look allot different shaved, that is her in my profile pic when she was younger... but she enjoys rolling in the chicken poop so that is why I shaved her...and she had teeth in the pic now she is down to 3 left i think...she does have her teeth cleaning scheduled for this Saturday we will see how many she has left afterwards...LOL....

Minnie, I hope everything is OK or better in your belly.

Sorry about your car accident. They suck. Now you get to fight with the insurance company. I wish you well. See I stayed off my soap box on this!

I have a 2000 Ford 350, I love it. It is the extended cab diesel. Not economical but a real work horse. It pulls anything I ask it too. I have close to 250k on it. I want to get another 250k from it. I have looked at new ones but to replace it would cost 70 grand. I am not going to do it. Why would I want to spend that kind of money to get a truck that is prettier but not do the job any better. I would like to get a new interior in it, not because it is ruin out, but because I am a slob and the carpet shows it.

I can identify with you not wanting a different car, good luck, I hope they fix it.
Minnie, thinking of you, keep us updated.
Hey Ralphie, it's a farm truck, it's supposed to be dirty. If you got a new interior you would just have to work that much harder to get it back to farming level.

Here is Norman! He is 3 weeks old this Friday.
What a cutie! You can't really be thinking steaks, can you?

I make chicken coops in my driveway out of wood shipping pallets. I'm not finished with this one yet, I'm asking 1,000 I live in Albertville
Welcome to BYC and the Minnesota! thread!!
Good looking coop.

@Bogtown Chick

My inner lioness comes out when I hear about "families". Such b u l l s h i t.

I may be a bleeding heart treehugger but personal responsibility is personal responsibility. Hold the school accountable!
And hold the parents accountable.

I must be out of ovations so here is my thumbs up on this.

Some of my in laws fed their pigs milk. One had a dairy goat and gave their runt pig milk everyday. Wouldn't you know how dang HUGE that one is. And my other in law has a dairy cow that gave his pigs the 'waste milk' They sure do thrive on it. I can't wait to see how the meat turns out on the dairy fed ones!!!
It was probably about 40 years ago, I know I was quite young but I remember my dad telling us about someone he knew that feed his pigs leftover baked goods. That was the main bulk of their diet. I guess they figured it would sweeten them up, I don't know. Anyway, they butchered them and they were pretty much inedible.
I have heard alot of stories of feeding the waste milk though and that it grows them fast and good.

I thought I had multiquoted Holms pic also but I don't see it. Anyway, I LOVED it!!! So CUTE!!

@bantiesrule I hate when I am trying to load pictures or type out something and there it pops up 1 new posts 2, 3, 5, I can't keep up! I have to go back all the time. I feel like I miss things all the time.

Maybe we should all just sell our stuff and move in with @duluthralphie and build a permanent Minnesota version of the hippie gathering 'Burning Man'... it can be Freezing man. then we can take back his rightful land that has been turned wildlife reserve and grow all of our own food and have all of these crazy animals. If we all bring our flocks and coops, imagine the communal chicken flock we could have!

Who is in!?!?! anyone? Beuler? Beuler?????
Im in but pretty sure my son would be having some sort of intervention..

You guys can commune. Personally and no offense to you all but there's a reason I live without very many neighbors near by-- in the country--I like shooting down to coop in my underwear to let the girls out. I don't think we're all that friendly yet....

Just got back from a 2 1/2 hour walk in the woods with my son, Sadie and a .12 Gauge. No grouse or turkey bagged but we had a good talk.
