Hahaha! I know what you mean, people at my work have asked me if i'm going to do this.nooo, but don't think I haven't thought about bringing them into the basement on super cold days!

@scandiafowl , so here is a story of rats. I've been reading this ladies thread for a long time now, but the rats come into the picture at post #746. if anyone has time to burn, feel free to start at the beginning of the thread, there are ups, there are downs, there are naysayers, there are supporters. it is a wonderful thread, but be careful, you will get pulled in and won't be able to wait to see what happens next... like I said, if you have time in the winter for reading? lol

From what i've been reading you are doing great and getting alot done, that chicken coop is outstanding you should be very proud of yourself. Doesn't look like you need help to me, but who am I?
after the farmers market i went and participated in a mobile meal pack from Feed My Starving Children with some youth from my church. How much fun was that! we packed enough dry meal to feed 90 kids for a year that will be sent to mission groups in Haiti. If you ever have the chance, i really recommend doing it. They also have a few permanent sites near the cities.
I know i dont personally know you or your son, but i am curious if he needs to be close to you just as much as he thinks you need him close. I know i would be a total wreck for a long time if I lost my dad, and us boys have unique ways of dealing with emotions sometimes (Read: most of the time)
