Well Ralphie there is at least one hen in that Guinea Brigade.

I have at least 2, the one doing life in the Guinea Gulag is a female too. She is never getting out of there again, if I have my way. With her out of the flock the rest are very well behaved for guineas.

Well, I put a chick in with my broody girl twice. She pretty much gave the stink eye the entire time and then started pecking. Tonight she'll be hanging out in the garage with the chicks getting some 24hr light for a few days.

I have had that happen too, my other BA refused to take adoptees I thought she was going to kill them...

I feel so bad with my girls having to go into the coop so early these days... i know part of it is me not acclimating to daylight savings myself, but still. It takes me several weeks to get used to it.

I have a oegb rooster with a huge comb, will putting bag balm on it every day prevent frostbite on the coldest days? And do wattles need the same treatment as the comb? I'm trying to prepare for any blizzards that might be coming....
