Minnesota!

Well, I put a chick in with my broody girl twice. She pretty much gave the stink eye the entire time and then started pecking. Tonight she'll be hanging out in the garage with the chicks getting some 24hr light for a few days.

I feel so bad with my girls having to go into the coop so early these days... i know part of it is me not acclimating to daylight savings myself, but still. It takes me several weeks to get used to it.

I almost always read and post on here from my phone, so when I am on my computer looking and can see certain thing like ovations and who is online currently it is interesting haha. I was surprised to see how many people were lurking our thread that I have never seen post :) we must be entertaining!

I have a oegb rooster with a huge comb, will putting bag balm on it every day prevent frostbite on the coldest days? And do wattles need the same treatment as the comb? I'm trying to prepare for any blizzards that might be coming....
