Minnesota!

yesterday I stopped by the hinckley church craft and bake sale to pick up some lefse. THe woman who makes it each year makes the absolute best lefse, but this year, there wasn't any. Thinking she might have been an older church member who just isn't up to it anymore. I'm learning to make it, goes best to do it with a couple of friends.
We are fortunate that my MIL makes Lefse. Full Blooded Norski.
She used to make it with her sister with real potatoes but she then found a dehyrdrated potato flake recipe that I must say is just as good. And alot less work. I think we still have some in the freezer. I should pull out. Sounds good.

You could wish me a happy birthday:)
Happy Birthday Scandia. I quit having my birthdays myself when I turned 29.

Here's those photos of the saddles I promised. I really liked the felted down wool. I usually try for colors closer to my birds too. Helps with the picking on, camoflages, etc...

Once the birds get a little older and first molt then I didn't need them again.

I wonder if they are working on the BYC app now for phones 5 generation or younger. I have a 4s too...and it didn't work for uploading for the first time this weekend. It's hard to keep up to date. The apps on my phone are slowly becoming useless as well. I just need to get to May....

Thank you for the birthday wishes and photos. It helps me very much as I'm a visual learner.

Thanks Ralphie. Yes, the RIR go from cover to cover. The other four will go anywhere, it seems. My australops were under bushes on the side of the house. I heard the _____ eagles thump my siding as they came in to grab the hens. How do I post pictures from my phone to BYC's. Been trying all morning. Learning some new stuff though. Thats always good.

Good luck from the IPhone. I can do it one in 5-6 tries. I use the laptop for pictures.

BC, I want the old stuff like Stella Skoog made! She made it on a wood stove even, it was so good. BUT I would be happy to try the new stuff if you can talk your MIL into mailing me 4-5 pounds of it..

I need some one to come and put the saddles on my hens, (Also to make them) my DW would laugh me out of the house if I asked her to help with that..
