Minnesota!

Yeah I have to home school my 10yo he has as a "slight case" of Autism but he also has 158 IQ school is generally too slow for him

I have a nephew with full blown autism and his sister probably is somewhat asperger's , she's in college now and aced her physics exam, top of the class. So smart I can't comprehend it, I didn't get algebra.
Now days? I would homeschool, If I had to do it over. Our world is so scary to me.

There is a part of me that wishes I could home school. After getting to know some of the families in our area who homeschool - tremendous respect.

Morning, everyone!

It is pouring cats and dogs, and I'm trying to get up the nerve to go do chicken and quail chores. I hate opening the feed cans when it is like this - getting water inside leads to mold.

huh. I think I just dreamed up another project - a little roof over the feed cans. I have 5 full size galvinized cans which hold scratch, all flock, egg mash, boss, and game bird. they are up on bricks and I have to have upside down pails or bowls or something over the handles on the can lids or they leak. The quail get the game bird, as do the chickens when they are molting (which has been for the past 4 months and seems like forever). Usually I get 250 - 300 lbs at a crack because there is no handy feed store around here.

When I win the lottery, I'll be rich and will have organic feeds delivered . Funniest thing I ever heard was someone answer what was their retirement plan and they answered "lottery".

get to see baby Olivia today!

Have a great day, stay dry!

Mornin' all. This is disgusting... I think my chickens are developing webbed feet. Me too for that matter....

I was hoping they would just stay in the coop today, but no, they still wanted to venture out into the slop!

I've been gone for a few days from here just pop in to take a quick peak. And all does not seem happy with our MN family. I know we all have different views and opinions. But we all learn from each other and I thought respected each other. Some of us have guns, some do not ,some hunt some do not ,some are very political some are not. we are all of different ages, different backgrounds, different parts of the state, I know since I've been on BYC MN i've met several good people I've learned several good things from other people I have felt that I have found another part of what I would consider family. Just like in our real lives family my disagree and fight we don't always see eye to eye BUT no matter what family sticks together we figure out a way to work through whatever it is that's bothering us and we move on.. So to the ones that are mad right now KNOW that we care and need you and it wouldn't be the same without you here..
