Minnesota!

*laughing*
When I started reading your post I thought you were going spelunking!

Klop - you are so right, what will you be wearing in January?
Spelunking!! that made me laugh, good thing I wasn't having any coffee!

Blanchranch, I tried all the little places inside to move stuff too but couldn't get it to budge. Could be I just don't have the hand strength to do it, a couple years ago I fell on the ice and broke my arms and wrists, and since then....jars are a challenge. I'll hit my neighbor's later this morning when it is a decent hour. Can't wait to unload and measure. Obviously won't be doing anything with it til the ground unfreezes, and more importantly, til I have a plan!

Cyrus, welcome back - hope the pregnancy is going easy, and hope the new job is going great.

Ralphie's creamer roo is getting frostbit on his comb - its a big huge one. This isn't about excess moisture, this is just about it being below freezing, and roosters keeping their heads out all night instead of tucked under the wings.

Gotta get ready (dress for spelunking again) to head out to the coop to supervise the first morning together. I think it will go well, which is good because I have lots of chores to do since there are 17 people coming for Thanksgiving.

Well I just had a disgusting morning tea experience... I poured the hot water into my cup and noticed one of those Asian lady beetles floating in there! Okay, I guess that's not all that disgusting, but I can't help but imagine how gross it would be to accidentally swallow one of those things!
I saw a photo on facebook the other day of a dog that had a bunch of them lodged in the roof of its mouth. Gag! Blood and guts I can do. Clumps of bugs, especially in someones mouth, nope nope nope!

now i know why the kids wanted to move back in... they came home today with a 2015 Dodge Charger... But Mamma is driving it tomorrow when I go out,,,LOL,,,

Good Morning Coffee1st
When I first saw this I was thinking WOW you have a nice garage!!

lol! that would be a really really nice garage!

integration is a pin in the patootie. The little silkie has decided to go broody (really?) and hasn't eaten or had anything to drink. The little bantam rock runs around going "meep-meep" and gets chased by the rooster and a couple of the girls. No one can tell the buff orp from my current buff orp, so she is home free. THe barnvelder is timid and hasn't left the coop. The red star doesn't care and has been everywhere. THe dominque is drinking and drinking and drinking and drinking - everyone is eating hay like there is no tomorrow. I am salting the feed dish like crazy with grit because they were eating crumbles and maybe have no grit in their crops!

I'm taking a break to get warmed up, its snowing. going to be hard to accomplish much today!

geesh, just want to say that there are zillion you tubes on how to use a ratchet strap and how to undo them! Guess I'm not the only spatially and mechanically challenged person who can't figure them out! Off to unload those way cool warehouse caging from blanchranch.

ps: its snowing!

I grabbed a glass of water in the middle of the night and my mouth was filled with horribleness, asian lady beetle was IN MY MOUTH. They taste like they smell and it was awful. I ate cookie butter from Trader Joe's to get the taste out but just thinking about it makes my mouth taste like bug.
