Minnesota!

Well, I am still not getting much for eggs. Nothing from my EEs. Since the run is fully enclosed now I don't shut the coop door so when the light comes on they go down there. I may have to install more lights.....

On another note.
On turkey day the wife decided that we would not go to her folks house because they weren't going to do anything traditional. Soooo, now everyone decided they are coming to my house so I have to cook for 14. The wife and I have been trying to figure everything out for plates, chairs, serving dishes, etc. Arrg. Never had 14 here before. Our table fits 10 max and the center island in the kitchen seats 4 max.... Our living room is very small. We have the original farm house in the Neighborhood. Built 1900. By the soldiers cemetery. doors everywhere and smaller rooms for easy heating.
You can get some fancy looking paper plates. We had 11 kids in the family and there were times that we did holidays with paper plates. It isn't the decorations they remember, but the company they are with, so don't let the worry get to you. Good food and good company trump all else.

Faith is important in our lives, how ever we choose to express it.

Like what Shepard Book said to Mal in the film Serenity " I don't care what you believe, just believe".

(Just outed my absolute nerdiness)

Thought I would share this view of Grand Marais... My husband restored an old wooden boat over the past few years and we finally got it out on the harbor this summer.
