making cookies with family this weekend. Anyone have a favorite no bake xmas cookie recipe? with 9 people making cookies, oven space gets to be at a premium.

How about the marshmellow rice crispy wreaths, will cinnamon red hots. Or mini ritz peanut butter things dipped in chocolate and sprinkles. Rum balls? yum I think it's vanilla wafers crushed... you could google it, I think it was a Bacardi recipe I made them eons ago.

The little roo you gave me tried to crow today. I'm pretty sure that isn't normal for their age right?

Funny! He didn't try crowing with me, but I also had him in with 2 other Roos. Now it's just him and his ladies! The Roo you have was the head honcho of the brooder. Sweetest little thing, too. I'm not surprised I guess - he'll be 8 weeks old the end of this week. I had a little mixed breed Roo this past Spring that was barely 6 weeks old and started crowing. He kept trying for a week or so and then got the hang of it. My hubby thought he was choking......*sigh*

Back again.. Seen this one took a pic then noticed another one in neighbors tree swooping down towards my Bella so I yelled and ran for her. I think they were trying a distraction maneuver. Sneaky things..

That's crazy. If the girls weren't so happy being out in the yard, I'd keep them in their run/coop all day.

it is turning out so Beautiful.. you are doing a great job,, you and the boy... glad he loves his Momma and is willing to help... and what is that black stuff on the ground in the last pic??? it looks like dirt but i know where you live,,arent you in the sand zone? did you bring that pretty black stuff in?? 

No I'm in dirt. That black stuff is mud! Such a mess here.

Wow!!! That is a big one. I would try one of those plastic pellet guns that are all the rage with the kids. Just enough to scare them.

Won't be home from church for another hour yet. DW made her eggs for dinner and said she ate and looked 'better'

Her foot looked better but has lots of healing to go. We put new cream and bandages on. She is still pretty smelly though. is there something i can bathe her in to get the funk out? we have washed off as much poo as we can and trimmed some of the butt fluff but still.. pew! dish soap? shampoo of some kind?
