Yes, a momma cow protecting her calf can be just as dangerous!  Us Mommas don't want anyone messing with out kids!


Yep. And it is hard to get rid of a momma cow that attacks u. She is just doing what a normal cow would do in the wild to keep her calf safe. But something does have to be done.

And what is so sweet, one of my new SLW has a bum leg and she is inside in a cat carrier. Every time the chick chirps she answers...

in the new snow there was a racetrack between the run and the doghouse in the outer -run, and two new eggs appeared, so now there are 3 hens laying in the doghouse. This is a trend that I just as soon would stop. One hen in the dog house is cute. thats it.

There must be something about that doghouse! Is it used by a dog or only hens?
