Minnesota!

Did they expect that you were going to ship them on to the next person? WTH?
Consider yourself LUCKY to have all those! Like Holm said, raise them and cull hard for the very best. Breeding is a numbers game if you want to show or if you are looking to get the best. That is why I have so darned many and hatch so many, so I can pick the very best of the bunch and sell or eat the rest.
This is a GOOD thing!

Once I told them the chicks were all together in a brooder the matter was closed.
Am now the proud owner of 22 JG chicks. Hope they don't eat me out of house and home.

@lalaland abut the great at the base of the feather shafts.... it's not lollipopped like eggs. It looks flat, like dirt is at the base, but not like little eggs. I just thought it was word that dirt would collect at those spots. The picture didn't show this well. They dust bath in really dry dusty dirt though. I'm hoping that is all it is.

The hen that got sick was better the next day. 85% congestion gone. Isn't that crazy?! Used vetrx, vitamin drench, and probiotics/electrolytes in the water.

I think I figured out the egg drop. I believe it's self inflicted. I was supplementing with light this winter, and then stopped. I read that can cause molt. Now I'm noticing little feathers growing in on the hens. I think it's a slow molt. :(

A friend in Mora is giving me her old chicken coop. It's a solid structure, just have to haul it here.

Problem solved.

I found another hen with bite marks on her back. She's running around with the other chickens like nothing ever happened so I missed her injuries after the dog attack. She's now in the dog kennel after being treated. One of my remaining roosters is still trying to mount her!

Does egg production stop completely or slow down? Depends on the hen?
My EE stopped completely for a while.

Today I have to put 58 eggs into lockdown... I better get atleast 40 chicks. Well I hope at least... I have a guy who wants 30 chicks and one whos wants more after getting his first batch! Thats good I think.

I am happy!! I put my ducks hens up for sale yesterday and I already have 2 people interested. If I dont sell them to the first guy the other gets them. $60.00 bucks for three ducks isnt bad I dont think.
