minor compared to most subjects--- glazed face feathers

my 5 month aracana sp? has a glazed subtance underneath her beak and on the side of her face. I saw an ealier question posted that sounded like mine and they suggested flea or mite soap. Shes not bothered by it but it does look to be spreading.. thanks for any info.
 
Does it come off if you try to take it off? Sorry, I really don't know much about this sort of thing. If it were me, I would keep an eye on it; hope someone else can help!
 
There is a disease that causes a slimmy appearance but I can not remember the name of it. Gloria Jean

Look up external disease symtoms of poultry. Maybe you can find it.
