HI, I have a black Minorca rooster that Isis missing most of the feathers on one side of his neck. The scin is white and slIguly scabby and you can see the broken feather tips sticking out and sometimes a bi of dried blood. I've seen him scratching there and I believe it may be an irritation caused by his massive comb and wattle (or whatever you call the hanging bit beneath his beak) which has been compounded by all the scratching, but I'm wondering if it could be anything else and if there might be a way to fix it. It makes an otherwise beautiful bird look rather hideous. It's been like this for about a year. Thanks for any help.
