Thanks for the pics and the stories. You sure have found your self a wonderful "caretaker" and home. I know hour "hatch buddies" are great friends and WOW one of them is a LADY.

I think Miracle is adorable! Looks like an eagle/vulture/chicken/Big Bird. Lol! I love the coloration of the feathers and the little beard!

This is a great thread! I love seeing the poics of this mysterious bird and reading the updates! ( i just read all 20 pages!! )

This is soo cool! Cant wait to se what s/he will look like when s/he grows up!
Also i know nothing avout Guineas and im kind of confused .. are Rascal and Little Bit hybrids or pure breds??

Rascal and Little Bit are just regular guineas and act like regular guineas. I'm new to guineas and chickens, both, so everything is a fun learning experience for me. The adult birds, both guineas and chickens, I have raised from day-old birds but at different times. Now with this new and strange bird I'm watching everything closely and comparing. I'm so very glad that I was able to hatch out the regular guineas from the same batch because it makes comparing them so much easier and more fun. If I had a couple of baby chicks in with them it would even more interesting.
