Miracle- Hello! guinea/chicken crossbreed

hmmm if his fast growth keeps up he might not live super long... i will be following this thread closely to see how he develops... i wonder if anyone has ever tried to breed for this on purpose??? might make a interesting meat cross (like the mule ducks)...

Wow, very interesting! I wouldn't have suspected but then again, stranger things have been known to happen. It does have a very guinea-like head and down color. I'm definitely going to follow this thread.

Very cool. I hear that Guinea crosses always fair better when they are more like the guinea parent. Ones that are more like the chicken parent rarely last very long.

Yours seems to be more like the guinea parent so that is great, good luck.

Interesting that his legs are completely dark. My pearl guineas all had yellow legs as keets.

I can't wait to see him as he grows.
