Miracle two-hour broody cure! (Updated this morning)(Afternoon update)

I need about 60 ice packs and i ain't kidding ya, i am having a broody nightmare here.
Thank you so much for this tip i am going to try to put ice packs under some tonight and hop it works.

I tried this and it didn't work for me. The only thing that's worked for me and my twice broody and once SLW has been cool water and plenty of hassling. I don't care if she doesn't like me repeatedly picking her up and putting her on the ground.

I took a bag of corn (cause I hate corn and didn't want DH to attempt cooking it) and stuck it under my broody. She didn't move. I took a bag of cranberries (also hate those) and stuck those under too. Checked a half hour later, nothing. Took one of those frozen beer mugs and shoved it right under her rump. She was literally laying on a pile of frozen things with her butt stuck up in the air. She was trying her best to cover her ice babies with her wings and front parts. She stayed like that for two hours.

This may be the final update. I've seen three days of this broody ice therapy and it doesn't appear to be working, Yeah, I know. It was too good to be true, and way too easy. Aren't we supposed to suffer along with the broody?

Su-su was on her happy way to adopting the ice pack as her future baby, showing no sign of being discouraged from nest-sitting this time. So I had no choice but to break out the broody cage, set it up, and Su-su is now installed in it with a fan blowing cool air under her.

I'm as sorry as anybody that this didn't work. Well, that's how we learn.

Well, we women should understand the power of hormones the best! And how many of us have teenage girls at home? OMG! If I could stick a bag of frozen peas under one of my daughters and get her out of hormonal moodiness, then I'd have a freezer full of them.
Oh, sorry to get off the topic of broody hens....

Wouldn't work. She'd never leave that ice cream under there. You'd just have to give it to her with a spoon. You see, that way the mouth is full so nothing comes out of it
