misaligned jaw

i have a chick that was hatched 5 days ago in my 'bator. my niece noticed this morning that it's jaw is not aligned. it still trys to peck at food,will it be o.k?

I have a BR hen who has a misaligned beak and i made a V shaped feeder so she can eat,as she has a proublem pecking at food not in a V shaped dish.
i got her for free and i named her Duckie cause it looks like she has a bill....

It depends on how bad it is. I think it is called cross beak and as the beak grows,if it is severe,they bird will not be able to eat. If it is slight,you can watch it and trim the beak with nail clippers when it gets too long. If it is severe, I would cull the chick. If I kept it,I would not use it as a breeder.
