Missing duck

I suspect either a fox or coyote. In my experience over the years an owl has never taken a bird, just the head. If you have a camera put it up because whatever it was will be back and then you will know for sure what you're dealing with. Good luck...

I have a dog fence around my yard… how could a coyote have gotten in? Can they jump those fences?

Duck went missing last night. Can't find her. No blood, feathers or signs of struggle. What animal would do that? I'm not sure what I should think.
hey, the same situation happened to me I'm very heartbroken and its mate too i raised my 2 Pekin duck since birth and when i came from school i realized something was off because i heard one of them quacking and i was looking everywhere for her and her mate was so sad now shes lonely, so i don't know if someone kidnaped her and they are free range ducks they don't have a coop and now my ducky is in my chicken coop with the chickens because we don't have another duck so yea plus there names are snowy and ms aflac.

I’m sorry to hear that. Sounds like it was a day predator like a hawk considering there was no remains. I suggest you buy a coop or a safe place you can lock them up at night because ducks are incredibly vulnerable animals. On top of that I suggest you get a few more ducks, they’re flock animals and can’t live alone even if you have chickens they’ll need atleast one of their own kind.
