Missing Duck

I had a very loving, friendly, charismatic, cheerful, and protective pet duck who I cannot find. It really breaks my heart to be without him, same with my other duck. His name was F3 and he has been with his wife, Solina, his whole life. They were always together and did everything together, but when I got home from school yesterday, something was off. Usually they come to greet me, but they didn’t. When it was time for them to go to bed, I went down to the creek and only saw Solina there. For the rest of the night, we looked everywhere for him, even knocking on doors. I took today off of school to keep looking for him, but I couldn’t find him. I even checked the Muscovy flock next door. Solina and I arevery depressed without him, and I do not know what to do. He was my best friend and a consistent companion. Please give me any advice you can, thanks.

In my experience, it sounds like a predator took off with him. It happened to me when I couldn't find my duck. I only figured it out once I watched a video from the outdoor cameras that a fox had taken off with her while she was freerangjng.
If there is no protection, predators can easily take off with ducks.
There is always a chance he will show up, but I would keep your other duck locked up until he does.

Sorry for your loss of F3. I know it must hurt you and Solina.
Solina will need a new friend -- maybe you can adopt another duck from somewhere.
