Missing feathers behind the waddles

Hey BYC,

I have a Buff Orpington rooster who is bald behind his waddles. Im thinking its from always being wet from when he drinks and saggy waddles just rubbing em off. Has anyone else experienced this? What are some remedies? I kinda wanna trim his waddles off like how they do gamebirds.
