Well, I soon discovered that my other hen a buff Orpington was the reason that my silver lace Wyandotte had missing feathers on her back. Unfortunately, I have not found anything to make her stop doing it. I have tried the hot pick spray and the rooster booster pick no more lotion that was recommended. Neither of those deter the picking. After a couple months of this pestering the appearance of the Wyandotte changed. Her feathers have a very fluffy appearance everywhere except her neck and wings. Her chest used to have the black and white but now it looks like messy grey fluff. Can anyone help me? I only have two chickens so I don't know if separating them is an option. Oh, the Wyandotte also looks visible thinner than a month ago.
