I totally thought the thermostat would go on the outside. Does it read but not control? Or is it automatic?

It is automatic. It reads the temp inside the incubator and turns the light on and off accordingly. It has done so once already.

I forgot who it was, but someone told me that the horse eggs wouldn’t end up big. Boy where they wrong.

I understand where you are coming from. I, unfortunately, cannot persuade my boss to do anything differently. There are many practices of his that I do not agree with.

You are a better person than me then... i could not work for or even volunteer for someone who neglected their animals. Period.

Oh maybe I should make a thread about my bush babies... There is a huge flock of feral chickens where I live, and I’ve hatched a total of 14 eggs from them. I’ve got six eggs from them at day two in ‘bator, and three such eggs from feral mallards at day 10 or 11.
